A Fully Equipped fibreglass facility
Increasing demand for its fibreglass canopies has prompted 4WD equipment manufacturer Fully Equipped to install a new state of the art facility at its Hamilton factory.Opening the new plant, Fully Equipped's managing director Kayne Scott says demand for Crown canopies both in New Zealand and overseas is growing all the time and he says the company's put a lot of time and effort into researching latest manufacturing trends in the product to ensure the quality expectations of their clients are met. "Our facility now boasts the most modern low-emission laminating equipment available and uses industry leading ultra violet resistant gel-coat formulations,"says Kayne. "Because temperature consistency is critical to the consistent laminate manufacture of fibreglass, the company has invested heavily in technology to control temperature." "We're selling to a lot of people in the telecommunications and electrical fields so weíre also only too aware that every canopy we produce has to be totally waterproof. We water-test every canopy we produce." says Kayne. He said the new facility was a credit to all those involved in its development and complimented the production of the companyís Tuftop plastic canopy range and Tufdek utility liners.
