Life has just got a lot easier for all do-it-yourselfers, landscape gardeners, and trades people with the release of the new generation WARN Works® 4700 DC powered winch.Tapping into its 50-plus years of off-road product know-how, Warn Industries has designed the WARN Works® 4700 specifically for pulling, hauling and dragging just about anything anywhere single-handed. Key features of the new generation WARN Works® 4700 include a 1.9 hp, permanent magnet motor, all metal gear housing and gear train, and a robust three-stage planetary gear design. The brake is a mechanical and dynamic system that holds the full rated load. Operation of the winch is through an industrial contactor control pack and a 3.7 metre all-weather remote control unit. All wires to the motor are protected by a plastic housing. With a 2,130 kg rated line pull, and 18 metres of wire rope, the WARN Works® 4700 comes standard with a hawse fairlead to guide the wire rope onto the winch drum and increase both the performance level and lifespan of the winch. The WARN Works® 4700 DC powered winch will find use on the construction job site and on landscape, agricultural and home improvements projects. In-fact anywhere where there is a convenient 12 volt power source available and lugging, dragging or hauling is required. Loading and unloading small machinery and construction equipment, moving a large pallet of material, pulling a vehicle or boat onto a flatbed trailer, placing and removing trees, rocks and shrubs, winching in hay bales, even moving boat ramps and docks are all jobs that can now be undertaken single handedly with the aid of the WARN Works® 4700.
