New extreme performance recreational winch launched onto NZ market
Fully Equipped, the New Zealand distributor for Warn industries, has launched a new extreme performance recreational winch.
The winch, known as the Warn 9.5XP, is designed for the serious off-roader looking for a winch that will perform under the most challenging of conditions. With 9,500 lbs of pulling power, the longest duty cycle and fastest line speed of any Warn winch under load, the 9.5XP has been developed for extreme performance. The 9.5XP winch features an all new, high output parallel series wound winch motor that’s the strongest and most durable in the industry. The 12 volt 6 hp motor, 3 stage planetary gearing and continuous duty control pack work in synchronisation to tackle the most demanding pulls. Full face contact drum seals, motor and end housing gaskets deliver extreme-duty water resistance. A high gloss, chip resistant powder coat finish over chromate coating affords superior corrosion resistance. At the launch of the winch in Hamilton recently, Wayne Robertson, Marketing Manager for Fully Equipped Ltd said the Warn 9.5 XP is the cumulative of over two years of development work by Warn Industries. No other recreational winch combines such massive horsepower and speed with extensive water resistant sealing and an all new solenoid control pack he said. The Warn 9.5XP comes complete with a roller fairlead, a 3.7 metre all weather remote control and 38 metres of wire rope.
