Coil-Rite air helper springs now available in NZ
National commercial and 4WD equipment specialist Fully Equipped has been granted distribution rights for Coil-Rite air helper springs.
Coil-Rite air helper springs improve the ride handling of vehicles and give a more comfortable ride, even under heavy loads and rough terrain, by providing extra support to coil spring suspensions. Using air pressure, they are designed to fit inside the existing coil spring suspension to create a variable rate spring. Made of durable, elastic polyurethane, Coil-Rite air helper springs are manufactured by Firestone in the USA. At the product launch in Hamilton, Wayne Robertson, the Marketing Manager for Fully Equipped explained how Coil-Rite air helper springs can be adjusted for varying loads and road conditions by inflating or deflating the air helper springs. Spring performance can be altered as easily as inflating a tyre. “Along with improved steering and braking effectiveness, Coil-Rite air helper springs will increase stability, prevent “bottoming out”, eliminate front, rear, or side to side sag and reduce tyre wear” he said.
