Fully Equipped continues expansion of it's nationwide network
Following the recent opening in Invercargill, Fully Equipped, the national supplier of commercial and 4WD vehicle accessories has opened a further sales and service centre in Gisborne.The move is part of Fully Equipped's strategy to offer a comprehensive range of vehicle accessories distributed through a nationwide chain of centres conveniently located and offering a complete fitting service by product experts. In the local markets its seen as both meeting an existing demand for equipment to customise commercial and four-wheel-drive vehicles, and developing the market with off-the-shelf accessories and specialised recovery products. Fully Equipped started life producing utility canopies and Tufdek liners in Cambridge in the mid-1990s and these accessories remain among Fully Equippedís core products. But Fully Equippedís growth in recent years has built on the companyís ever-widening ranges of suspension, towing and recovery equipment, protective gear for trade vehicles, specialised winches and service bodies and a vast array of bullbars, nudge bars, racks and dress-up accessories for the RV market. Among its product lineup are some of the worldís most respected names in their specialised fields including Warn Winches from the United States, TJM suspensions and protective bars, Hayman Rees towing equipment and award-winning Bushranger products from Australia. Fully Equippedís multi-level operations include advising fleet operators and supplying purpose-designed and fitted equipment. Among its most successful projects has been the fitting out of Stateís Roadside Rescue fleet, the nationwide breakdown service which uses vans, station wagons and utilities which carry fibreglass Crown canopies and a range of equipment designed to handle arduous emergency work.
